Kids' programs
The parents would like to reintegrate their children to school as soon as possible as they don't want them to miss out a lot. But this process is not that easy and take a lot of time.
Until then we would like to motivate them to keep on studying!

The available subjects are very diverse, this way every little one can find something interesting for him. Sport activities were very popular amongst boys. We experienced tha soccer and other competitive games were helping them to make new friendships.
PE started on Tuesday. The kids got unused to get up early, so the class could only start at 9. They played hare and hounds and practised how to hula hoop, and played different games with it.

The first English class was so successful, that kids very very excited about the second one. They arrived earlier to the reception, and waited there for the teacher to arrive. The videos and the songs they sang togehter were very inspirational for them. They formed two groups, younger children mostly sang and played togehter, the older students got worksheets and flashcards.
Arts and crafts are also very popular amongst the refugees. On Wednesday they had tasks related to spring, like folding flowers. Beside this coloring and drawing are always very popular too.
Thursday morning stated the Physics class, where kids were studying about the solar system using videos as visual aids.

These activities are not only about teching the kids, but to bring back the everyday system they had before the war. Leaving their homes is a trauma affecting their whole lives. We would like to help them getting back to normal and starting a new life.
We are extremely helpful for having such wonderful and dedicated volunteer teachers who made these activities happen!
